12.00 – 13.00 The impact of regulation and standards on the middle east body repair market – Hana Mohamed Al Kho Khardi, Acting Head of Internal Conformity Affairs for Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA), will present the forthcoming introduction of the workshop standards and grading system and what it will mean to bodyshops and associated stakeholders in the UAE, in addition in this informative session we will hear about ESMA activities across a number of automotive aftermarket with regards to regulating the spare parts market and import of vehicles.

14.15 – 15.00 Developing motor claims with technology – in this session we will look at how technology can improve the motor claims process, reducing frictional costs and conflict, how this changes the requirement on the repair process and customer journey
15.00 – 15.45 Managing for a better future – Caroline Newns – with a changing regional collision repair market, the challenges to maintain profit margins, increase staff motivation and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction places new and ever growing pressure on managers. In this session we will look at how managers can develop their skills in specific areas to ensure they are ready to meet these constant market changes and challenges.
