Paul’s love for automotive started when his dad bought a 1968 Ford Thunderbird so they could work on it and restore it. This was when Paul was at high school where he took automotive classes to learn how to work on cars and complete their project. While in high school he got a job as a lube/tire tech, and afterwards went through a GM ASEP at the College of Southern Idaho.
Paul competed in SkillsUSA and won the state competition then went on and came second in the nationals. Afterwards he went through a runoff competition for the international spot and won. He then travelled to Kazan, Russia and represented the United States in automotive technology where he came 9th and received a metal of excellence due to his esteemed results. Paul has been working at a GMC dealership in Boise, Idaho since 2017 and has plans to further his career with his own repair shop.
