During his career Dean has worked with suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, vehicle design specialists and automotive research and training institutes. He has worked in roles relating to quality, operations, supplier and customer relationship management and education.
Dean joined Thatcham Research in 2002. In his current role of head of repair sector services, Dean provides the industry with repair data products, skills training and consultancy.
Both at work and in his free time Dean remains a champion for apprenticeships in the industry. He leads the acclaimed Thatcham Research Automotive Academy and actively participates in sector skills advisory groups. He is currently committee chair of the BS SVS20 committee which oversees BS10125.
