Daniel Salcido is the Vice-president for the Refinish business in Latin America and the President of Axalta Latam North.  Daniel has over 30 years expertise in Latam markets. Prior to lead Refinish Latam, Daniel served as President of Axalta Mexico from 2016 to 2017 and as CFO for Axalta Latam from 2013 to 2017.

Prior of his positions with Axalta, Mr. Salcido served a number of positions for DuPont, including CFO of DuPont Mexico and Finance Director for DPC Latam from 2010 to 2013; Finance Director for DPC Latam from 2007-2010 and Finance Director for P&IP Latam from 2005-2007.

Before joining DuPont in 1999, Mr. Salcido served in multiple finance roles at Nestle Mexico from 1993 to 1999.

Daniel holds a B.A. in Public Accountancy from ITAM and a Senior Management Program from IPADE.

Currently he is member of the Board of Directors of Axalta Recubrimientos, Ducks Unlimited de Mexico (DUMAC),  American Society of Mexico and WEF Iberoamerica.
