Tesla is investigating the cause of a fire that broke out while a Model S was charging in Norway.
It was reported that the car caught fire after its owner had plugged it into a Supercharger on New Year’s Day.
The owner had left the vehicle and no one was injured, but the incident will cause concern about Tesla’s Supercharger system, which delivers up to 130 kilowatts of direct current.
A Tesla spokesperson said, ‘We are undergoing a full investigation and will share our findings as soon as possible.’
