Ian Groat has a five-decade long track record in the body shop and paint business and started Automotive Refinisher magazine over 33 years ago. The publication is a collision repair specific magazine which links body shops, OEMs and insurance as we are all connected in the market of mobile nuts and bolts.
The magazine is the voice of the collision repair industry for South Africa, as well as sub-Saharan Africa, and is well respected for its technical content and other interesting articles that it generates. The magazine doesn’t shy away from controversial issues either and looks to always create a better and sustainable future for body shops and all involved.
