The inaugural IBIS Africa opens in Johannesburg, South Africa, today.
The symposium will ask how markets can successfully integrate the innovations in the industry.
What’s needed is an integrated, step-by-step approach to reducing cycle times and phasing out manual interventions in the insurance claims handing process, while greater cooperation with manufacturers is crucial to ensure the skills keep pace with developments.
IBIS Africa will be debating these big issues, with the key points being: the collaboration needed between OEMs, insurers and bodyshops; planning for an open and free auto repair market with access to innovation; how data intelligence can streamline the experience of making a motor insurance claim; and what innovation and training are needed for the repair of advanced vehicle technologies.
