David Schneider, 3M Global Business Director, of the Automotive Aftermarket Division is a strong and versatile leader. His career at 3M has provided him great knowledge and experience in and around the electronics businesses which brings a level of understanding and adaption to the disruptions we are facing in the automotive aftermarket industry.
He joined 3M in 1993 as a Manufacturing Engineer in Austin, Texas. While in Austin, David took on more product responsibility and moved to business leadership for the Optical Components Business in Westhaven, Connecticut. From there, David has continued to build on his global leadership experience in 3M’s Six Sigma Operations as a Master Black Belt, leading integration teams for business acquisitions and working as the Global Business leader on both acquired and 3M legacy businesses.
With the vast product experience across 3M, David has created winning portfolio solutions that optimize operating procedures for efficiency for our global customers. He has held global business leadership positions in 3M Purification and Separation, Interconnect, Electronic Materials Solutions, Optical Components, and Telecom.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University and a Managerial Leadership Certificate from the Texas Executive Education, McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin.
