Dr. Chad W. Autry is the Myers distinguished professor of supply chain management, associate dean for research and faculty, and former department head of supply chain management in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Autry’s research focuses on collaborative and socially responsible supply chain relationships, and how supply chains must transform in order to adapt to future global trends. He is the author of over 70 research studies published in academic and professional outlets, and the author of /contributor to three books that focus on futurism in supply chain management practice. Dr. Autry’s professional background is in retail operations, and he has worked with and for numerous corporate, non-profit, and governmental organisations on supply chain transformation. He is a former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Supply Chain Management and currently is associate editor for three other supply chain management academic journals.
