Driven by customer obsession and a passion for innovation in the automotive and mobility sectors, Ricardo founded the first company specializing in automotive “Mystery Shopping” 30 years ago. In 2009, he travelled globally to study customer experiences at dealerships and launched the brand World Shopper.

In 2010, Ricardo initiated the World Shopper Conference which, over the next decade, established itself as one of the major European events dedicated to innovation in the automotive and mobility fields. Today, he serves as the CEO of World Shopper, heads the electric mobility and artificial intelligence areas in the R&D department, and is an ambassador for the “Living Electric” project.

With over a hundred articles and more than 400 videos published, Ricardo is one of the most active sector analysts on social media, boasting over 18,000 followers on LinkedIn and over 10,000 contacts on Facebook and Instagram. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with nearly every automotive brand in Portugal and abroad.
