Helder Pedro was born in Lisbon and has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon.

Secretary General of ACAP (Portuguese Automobile Association) since 1992, Helder Pedro also held the position of Member of the Board of Directors of ACAP since 2008.

Cumulatively he is Chairman of the ACEA Liaison Committee (Association of European Automobile Manufacturers) and Executive Vice-President of the Board of CCP – Portuguese Commerce and Services Confederation.

Vice-President of the General Council of PRP – Portuguese Road Safety Association.

Executive Manager of the companies – Auto Informa, Valorpneu, Valorcar and Sogilub.
