Joe has been in the collision industry for over 30 years, ever since he worked with his mother and father in their family’s collision business in Ancaster, Ontario. Joe’s parents, Sam & Rosa Saputo were collision repair market leaders who were amongst the first two CARSTAR franchise partners in Canada. Their store continues to be part of the strong foundation of the brand Nationwide.  As the founder & CEO of Saputo Capital Collision Group (SCCG), Joe and his team implemented a growth model to set the foundation for their 2027 Strategy. After winning CARSTAR franchisee at the company’s 30th Anniversary Conference, the momentum started to build, and the company has increased their business performance and number of stores.  Joe Saputo has a unique lens and elasticity of skill in the collision business, a licensed technician in paint and body, parleyed with a strategic vision where he is an early mover with a collaborative mindset in leading the digital transformation of the Collision Repair & Auto Claims economies.  Saputo Capital has spent the last year focusing on the capabilities of Ai and generative data. When he is not working, Joe enjoys time with his father in the shop, playing golf and four wall handball. Joe’s wife Maggie and his boys Aleks & Sammy area the centre of his life.
