Jaime Barea acumula una trayectoria de más de 25 años en el sector automoción. Licenciado en Derecho y Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Master en Relaciones Internacionales por la Escuela Diplomática de Madrid se sumó a GANVAM en 1998 como asesor jurídico, área que seis años más tarde pasó a dirigir. Tras 14 años al frente, en 2018 pasa a dirigir también el área Corporativa de la asociación. Actualmente, es presidente de la patronal.

Jaime Barea has over 25 years of experience in the automotive sector.
He holds degrees in Law and Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in International Relations from the Diplomatic School of Madrid. He joined GANVAM in 1998 as a legal advisor, a department he went on to lead six years later. After 14 years in that role, in 2018 he also took on leadership of the association’s Corporate area.
He is currently the President of the association.
