NSF authorises Tong Yang

Tong Yang has become the first manufacturer in Taiwan authorised to use the NSF Sustainability mark on bumper covers.
In 2012, Tong Yang’s bumper components were among the first parts to be certified by NSF International’s Automotive Parts Certification Program, which certifies parts that are ‘equivalent in form, fit and function’ to the OE service parts and meet NSF’s certification requirements.
To earn the recent additional Sustainability certification, NSF International audited Tong Yang’s manufacturing facility to determine compliance with the US EPA’s National Volatile Organic Compound Emission Standards for Automobile Refinish Coatings and the VOC content limits set by the state of California.
‘We are honoured to be the first automotive parts manufacturer in Taiwan to use the NSF International sustainability mark,’ said Nick Sun, assistant vice president, Tong Yang Industry Co Ltd. ‘The NSF mark underscores Tong Yang’s commitment to protecting the environment and outstanding manufacturing practices.’
In addition to automotive parts and sustainability certification, NSF International offers Automotive Collision Parts Distributor Certification, Collision Repair Shop Certification and Automotive Recycler Certification.
