James Crawley is an Entrepreneur, Investor, Business Consultant, Speaker and Author of two books “Fuel Your Employer Brand” & “Refuel Your Employer Brand”. He spends 2/3^rd of his time on commercial activities and 1/3 on charities and not for profits.

His current portfolio includes:

• A Software and Hardware technology business offering radio communications (where is he also the CEO (www.broadnet.systems)
• A Management consultancy firm specialising in Human Resources and Employer Brand (www.jcmadvisors.com)
• A radio station on the south coast of England ( www.regencyradio.co.uk)
• He is also a Non-Executive Director of a Historic Arboretum and event space in Kent. (www.reuthes.com)

James’s career started as an officer in the Royal Navy, where he subsequently spent several years in the Submarine Service as an Executive Branch Officer. In his commercial life he has led and completed a number of successful start-ups and turnarounds including one venture capital backed business that was sold for £70m. James continues to work directly with the senior leadership teams of number of Global multi £Bn turnover professional services firms, however these days likes nothing more than bringing his experience, knowledge and passion to much smaller businesses who are on a growth journey.  James believes that it is rare that the is a situation you can’t trade out of if you have the right product, but more importantly the right people.

For his not-for-profit activities, James is a volunteer with The British Red Cross, RNLI, South East 4×4 Response & SERV Kent Blood bikes, a trustee of The Sevenoaks CPR Charity and a former Lead Governor of South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
