Service King Collision Repair Centers recently celebrated its latest Apprentice Development graduating class.
The group included 42 apprentice technicians who each completed the 52-week hands-on training programme hosted inside Service King locations across the country.
The 2017 graduating class comprised technicians from nine different states across the US, as the programme continues to grow exponentially.
Tyra Bremer, Service King vice president of talent development, said, ‘This is a very proud moment for all of our graduating apprentices. The entire Service King family is immensely proud of the hard work, dedication and commitment all 42 technicians displayed throughout the programme. We are certainly eager to welcome them to the next stage of their careers.’
The Apprentice Development Program, launched in 2015, continues Service King’s commitment to training and investing in the next generation of skilled automotive technicians as the industry’s demand for skilled labour continues to increase. The programme has graduated more than 100 certified technicians into the workforce, and plans to more than double in size next year.
