IBIS Ireland to highlight disparate models

The views of a global collision repair network combined with the insight of a leading, local independent repair operation is set to provide a fascinating overview of market dynamics at IBIS Ireland 2018.

The session, part of IBIS Ireland 2018 which is backed by lead partner AkzoNobel and partners Audatex, Fix Auto and Synergy, will see Fix Auto’s Graham Kresfelder, responsible for global strategic development within the franchise network, take to the stage alongside Frank Byrnes, owner of Galway based Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs to discuss the global trends impacting on the local market.

Graham said, ‘I am looking forward to helping provide a global perspective on the rapidly evolving Irish market – highlighting the challenges and opportunities we see across the globe.

‘Sharing our experiences and insight in order to help support local markets is an important part of our business and IBIS Ireland provides an opportunity to do just that.

‘Taking to the stage along with local business man, Frank Byrnes will create a truly dynamic session.’

Frank Byrnes commented, ‘Having attended IBIS Ireland for the past few years I understand the value it brings in providing a broad perspective on the collision repair industry.

‘I am very much looking forward to sharing the views from a local independent repairer’s perspective on how the market has developed, what the challenges and opportunities have been, and what this continued evolution might mean for the future.

‘Commenting on the local market alongside the global experiences shared by Fix Auto World will make for a very interesting session.’

IBIS Ireland 2018 takes place on 15 May at the Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Place.
