Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn arrested

Carlos Ghosn, Nissan’s chairman, has been arrested over claims of financial misconduct, according to the BBC.
Carlos will be fired from Nissan’s firm after a board meeting on the 22 November, its chief executive said.
Including under-reporting his package and personal use of company assets, Carlos has been accused of filing annual securities reports containing fake statements, which could mean up to 10 years in prison, or a fine of 10m yen, or both.
According to unconfirmed Japanese media reports, Carlos under-reported from 2011 an amount totalling to £34m.
The carmaker has also stated plans to remove Greg Kelly, senior executive, who has believed to also be ‘deeply involved’ in the misconduct. Greg has also been arrested.
Carlos is also chief executive of Renault and chairman of Mitsubishi. Both companies plan to remove him from his position.
