The 24-year-old from Norway has always liked cars and regards her role as a paint technician as a passion more than a job. After being encouraged to enter WorldSkills by her teacher, she won the regional competition to qualify as the first female ever to take part in the nationals. A year later she finished fifth and earned a medal of excellence at the WorldSkills Competition in São Paulo, Brazil.
Now, with seven years’ experience in the industry behind her, she is planning to open her own workshop in her hometown this summer.
