Caliber receives Ernst & Young accolade

Caliber Collision CEO Steve Grimshaw, whose leadership has fuelled the company’s explosive growth, has been named Ernst & Young’s 2016 Southwest Entrepreneur of the Year in the services category.

Grimshaw received the prestigious award at the annual Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Gala in Dallas, Texas, which honours and recognises the men and women who create the products, services and jobs that help the US economy and communities grow.

‘I am honoured and humbled to receive this award on behalf of Caliber’s 9,000 teammates who are dedicated to achieving our overall company purpose, which is to Restore the Rhythm of Lives for our customers, team members, and the local communities that we serve,’ said Grimshaw in accepting the award.

Grimshaw was selected for this top award by a panel of national business leaders for his strategic tenets to drive incremental business while providing operational consistency, complete customer satisfaction, and managing client’s overall costs.

Since Grimshaw took the reins in 2009, Caliber Collision has grown from 68 locations to 412 centres in 16 states and the District of Columbia, and the number of teammates from 2,100 to 9,000 today.
