Collision Repair leads in Canada

IBIS Global Summit media partner, Collision Repair magazine, is regarded as the top magazine in the Canadian collision repair industry, according to an independent survey of readers conducted by the Independent Publishers of Ontario (IPAO).

‘We are thrilled with the results,’ says Darryl Simmons, publisher of Collision Repair magazine. ‘Our mission is to deliver top quality content to our readers and our advertising partners. These results validate that we are delivering on our promise.’

The survey, delivered by email, asked a series of questions comparing three magazines serving Canada’s collision repair industry, a market generating about $4bn annually. In each case, Collision Repair magazine was the overwhelming leader.

Perhaps most telling are the results for readership. Almost all the survey respondents (97%) say they receive Collision Repair magazine, and 79% of those surveyed indicated they read at least three out of the last four issues cover to cover.

One question in the survey asked readers to identify which magazine best represents their industry. Collision Repair magazine received the top score of 78.48%. The competing publications scored just 15.19% and 6.33%.
