IBIS Global Summit gearing up for Monaco

As many of us now emerge from lockdown, we will be eager to regroup safely face to face in the outside world.

That is why here at IBIS (International Bodyshop Industry Symposium) we are busy working with our partners to plan the IBIS Global Summit, which will take place in Monaco on 19-20 November when greater freedoms mean the collision repair industry community will be able to get back together.

Naturally, the safety and well-being of our delegates will be high on our agenda. Therefore, while we intend to make time for networking and socialising, we will always adhere strictly to the rules and regulations on sanitisation, social distancing, food service and so on.

The business agenda will focus on where we have come from as an industry, where we thought we were going, plus the new reality and action plans directing our short to medium term future.

We will pull this together under the umbrella of the 20th anniversary IBIS Global Summit theme of: Tomorrow’s world, today.

Delegates will discover how futuristic, “out there” advancements playing out in the present were becoming the norm even before Covid-19. Examples include a move to digitised insurance claims, autonomous vehicles, ADAS technologies, a need for more advanced repair skills, and the rise of artificial intelligence.

As we then turn the spotlight on our transition out of the pandemic, we will demonstrate that the fusion of the future and the here-and-now seems to have risen exponentially. Phenomena such an expedited move towards fully touchless claims and the automation of the end-to-end repair journey spring to mind.

Further announcements will appear on our website and our social media feeds as the event takes shape over the coming weeks and months.
