Jose Manuel García Conde, deputy general manager, CESVIMAP

Jose Manuel has a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Valladolid and a master’s degree in financial and economic business management from the CEF. 

In 1980, he began his professional career as assembly engineer at ELECNOR, one of the leading electrical companies in Spain, where he opened the Extremadura branch of the company. 

In 1985, he moved to the Madrid headquarters where, after completing his master’s degree in high voltage works, he managed the central Spain region. 

In 1989, he joined CESVIMAP, the Research Centre for Automobile and Road Safety owned by the number one motor insurance group in Spain, MAPFRE.

Jose Manuel has fulfilled many roles at CESVIMAP. In the 1990s, he was centre technical director, set up four CESVI centres in South America and Europe and three repair workshops in Spain. 

Since 2003, he’s worked as deputy general manager of CESVIMAP, actively involved in the national and international expansion of the company and developing strong links with car manufacturers, suppliers and other big players in the automotive aftermarket industry.
