Board member and national vice chairman of the Motor Industries Workshop Association
Les started his career as a motor mechanic at Mercedes Benz. In 1980, he joined the Motor Industries Federation (now RMI) as head of the Motor Industries training Centre and in 1985 he re-joined Mercedes Benz as general service manager.
In 1989, Les started his own specialist service centre. He is currently a director and shareholder at MOVE workshops – a workshop concept designed to enhance the effectiveness and profitability of independent aftermarket workshops.
He serves as a director on R2RSA, campaigning for the motorists’ right of choice. He gives back to the industry in the form of serving on the various structures within the retail motor industry. Les is currently a board member and national vice chairman of the Motor Industries Workshop Association (MIWA).
