Dave Gunderson of 3M joins IBIS Global Summit 2023

Dave Gunderson is the President of the 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division, with extensive experience in the automotive industry. He joined 3M in 1988 as a technical service engineer in Livonia, Michigan, and quickly progressed to leadership roles at the company’s headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dave has held global business positions in key AAD portfolios such as body structures and adhesives, masking tape, and advanced ceramics. He has also played integral roles in Six Sigma operations, strategic planning, and business development. Dave’s international assignment included Germany and he also spearheaded the acquisition of Meguiar’s Inc. in California, serving as the first Director and Chief Operating Officer for Meguiar’s and the 3M branded Auto Care portfolios. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Minnesota.

Since the first IBIS conference in 2001, the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) has become firmly established as the leading global conference and networking provider for automotive collision repair industry leaders and influencers.
