Miguel Guimarães holds an Economics degree from Faculdade de Economia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa / Nova SBE and has an extensive background within APS.

In his current role, he leads the Technical and Training Department and closely follows the activities of various APS Technical Committees, including those related to Health and Non-Life insurance. Miguel also represents the Association in both national and international contexts, participating in several Insurance Europe committees.
