Monaco Ground Transportation

Taxi

Taxis are the most convenient way to get from Nice Airport to Monaco, although they will be charged at a flat rate of 90EUR. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. You can pre-book your taxi on the official Nice Airport Taxi website here https://www.welcomepickups.com/nice/airport-taxi/


Bus

Nice Airport offers an Express Bus service (Number 110) from the airport to Monte Carlo Central leaving every 30 minutes. Tickets cost 22EUR, the journey will take between 35 – 50 minutes and the busses run from 6am – 8pm daily. Tickets can be purchased from the Ticket Office just outside of the Terminal and the bus will stop at Sea Club/Hotel Méridien, which is the stop you will need to use. https://www.niceairportxpress.com/en/timetable/1/retour


Train

There are 2 train options to get to Monaco. If you want to get the fast train, 25 minutes, from Nice Ville Gare, you will need to get a bus or taxi to the station. If you do not want to travel to Nice Ville Gare, you can also get the train from St Augustin which is within walking distance from Terminal 1. This train journey will take 35 minutes. Both trains will cost approximately 5EUR. Trains run from 5am – 11pm daily.


Helicopter

The most stylish way to arrive into Monaco is by helicopter. The transfers take 7 minutes and then a chauffeur will be waiting at the helipad to bring you to Le Méridien. The cost of a helicopter transfer is 140EUR per person, alternatively you can book a private helicopter for 6 people for 650EUR.
