Tesla cuts colour options

Tesla plans to retire two of its seven colour options to speed up production times.
Elon Musk said that he is cutting Obsidian Black Metallic and Metallic Silver from the list of options to ‘simplify manufacturing.’ Both colours would still be available, but a higher price.
That will leave five colours still available – solid black, midnight silver metallic, deep blue metallic, pearl-white multi-coat, and red multi-coat.
Tesla announced on Tuesday that it manufactured 2,020 Model 3 vehicles in the last week of its first quarter – but missed its target of 2,500.
