Charles Canning joined the family business in 1991 at the request of his father, Barry. He and his brother, James, took over the business in 2019 and are now the third generation of Cannings at the helm of one of Cape Town’s leading motor body repairers.

Charles has a passion for the MBR industry in South Africa and was elected to the chair of the South African Motor Body Repairers Association in 2019. With the knowledge he gained in his own business over many years, Charles believes in “giving back” to the industry through tangible outcomes-based projects that will benefit SAMBRA members.
