Grégory Coutanceau, the eldest of a family of restaurateurs, abandoned a career in medicine to follow the family passion, with brio. After perfecting his art with great names such as Alain Ducasse, Hélène Darroze and Frédéric Anton, he has created a cuisine that combines tradition and modernity. At the head of his own kitchen house, he makes it a point of honour to promote local producers and the diversity of products from his region. From its gastronomic restaurants such as Les Flots to more convivial places such as Vivre[s], it offers generous and inventive cuisine. On the podium of Chef of the Year in 2018 and winner of the prize for the most beautiful wine list in 2019, Grégory Coutanceau continues to promote the Charente-Maritime terroir with passion and know-how.
