Guillermo Magaz has a Bachelor´s Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering by the  Polytechnic University of Madrid. His professional career involves every sector of on-road and off-road vehicles. He has been responsible of the after-sale departments of different automotive brands (Hyundai Precision, Mitsubishi Motors), participating in many international projects.

In 2019, March, he assumed the responsibility of Managing Director at AECA-ITV –  Spanish Association of the Vehicle Technical Inspection entities. AECA-ITV is practically made up by all public and private testing centres in Spain, including the National Police, Civil Guard, Army and Air Force. This means that around 20,000,000 of vehicles a year are tested by AECA-ITV members.

In addition, Guillermo Magaz is a member of the following entities:

• CITA – International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee
• European Road Safety Charter of European Commission
• Higher Council for Traffic, Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility of Spanish Ministry of Interior.
• UNE (Spanish Standardization Entity)
• ENAC (Spanish National Accreditation Body)
• Working groups of Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism and Ministry of Interior (General Directorate of Traffic).
