Since he was young Abdulaziz has always had a passion for cars and how they work. In high school he went on a field trip to the Emirates Skills competition and saw students competing in the automobile technology category. At that point he knew he wanted to compete in such competitions in the future.
He started his journey in skills competitions winning gold in the automobile technology category at the Emirates Skills 2018. HIs next challenge was to compete in the first world skills Asia 2018 competition which was held in Abu Dhabi. Here, he won gold in automobile technology, best of nation prize and the Abu Dhabi award for the highest overall score achieved. Next came WorldSkills Kazan 2019 which was a life changing experience. He came eighth in the competition and was awarded the medal of excellence for his final score.
