Alison is an experienced talent and development specialist with 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry and extensive experience of projects involving technical capability, regulatory change/compliance, business skills and systems training.
Alison started working in various insurers in the UK handling motor and casualty injury claims in both commercial and personal lines.
In the last 15 years moving into a Talent and Development roles involving technical and skills training to the claims and underwriting functions. Progressing onto a Talent and Development Consultant roles involving project management of programmes to support integration of new products and systems following an acquisition, regulatory change and technical capability. The role also included the promotion and support of professional qualifications. The most recent role in Talent and Development was for a global insurer as a technical capability and change consultant assisting with the delivery of global technical capability programmes and managing change projects.
Alison is also an education consultant working with the IAEA, overseeing delivery of the AQP competency assessment and the institutes professional qualifications and is also the examiner for their motor insurance and insurance law modules.
