Financial misconduct from Nissan chairman

Nissan has announced the proposal of removing chairman Carlos Ghosn from his position due to claims of financial misconduct, according to the BBC.

Carlos had been under-reporting his pay the firm stated after conducting internal investigations that were several months long.

Additionally, the firm found ‘numerous other significant acts of misconduct’ including ‘personal use of company assets.’

Nissan also commented in a statement, ‘Nissan deeply apologises for causing great concern to our shareholders and stakeholders.’
