FMG introduces new IT expert

FMG has further strengthened its board with the appointment of Martin Bluck as IT development director. Martin is highly experienced in IT leadership and a professional member of the British Computer Society, who will bring considerable fleet industry insight and expertise to the FMG board.
FMG, who are widely recognised as the leading independent provider of fleet incident management and specialist vehicle recovery solutions, continue to enhance their services and generate significant organic growth.
Mark Chessman, CEO of FMG said, ‘Whilst the business continues to go from strength to strength, we recognise that to maintain our position as market leaders, we cannot stand still. Traditional customer service models are changing as new technologies play an increasing role in our daily lives. We have therefore appointed Martin to help assist FMG in embracing new technologies whilst ensuring that FMG’s data, systems and infrastructure are continually improved.’
Martin has 23 years’ experience in IT and brings considerable knowledge and expertise from the automotive sector, having been part of the team that launched WeBuyAnyCar.com. In his previous position as Head of IT service delivery for Northgate Vehicle Hire in the UK and Ireland, Martin successfully delivered major change programmes.
Martin said, ‘It is great to now be part of the FMG team and my aim is to ensure technology is maximised to maintain our market-leading position. By focusing on innovation and speed to market, we can ensure our customers continually benefit from more meaningful data which will help reduce the frequency and impact on incidents whilst accurately monitoring the total cost of claims.’
