Irish market to learn from UK approach to automotive salvage

IBIS Ireland is now only few days away. This is the must-attend, annual event for the body repair industry in Eire and is set to gather repairers, vehicle manufacturers, insurers, suppliers and other key stakeholders at the Castleknock Hotel near Dublin on 2 May 2019.

The UK has embraced the new ABI salvage code and developed the AQP training programme and necessary qualifications. In Ireland there is no such salvage code, no legislation, no regulation, no mandatory requirement for training or exams to the standards of the AQP.
