BMW workers have suspended 24-hour strikes that were planned in response to the carmaker’s decision to close its final salary pension scheme. Volkswagen Group is recalling nearly 600,000 vehicles in China for safety reasons. Its joint venture, FAW-Volkswagen Automobile, will recall 577,590 Golf and Sagitar cars because of a headlight fuse defect that may lead to safety risks.
