France’s Renault has announced its plans to build new Nissan and Mitsubishi vans at its domestic plants, according to Reuters.
Renault’s new strategy plans to help raise investment in France as it discovers closer incorporation of the three-way carmaking union with government backing.
The local plant in Maubeuge will build a new Nissan NV250. Also, a bigger Mitsubishi model will be produced at the Sandouville site with Renault’s Trafic van.
This announcement will increase Renault’s 2018 French investment to £1.2m.
