Service King welcomes new class of apprentices

Service King Collision Repair Centres has announced it has officially accepted and welcomed 42 new auto body repair technicians to its growing Apprentice Development Program at locations in five different states across the U.S.

To kick off the newest 2018 class, Service King hosted celebratory signing events at nine different Service King locations. The 2018 class features apprentices from Texas, Washington, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Illinois.

‘The entire Service King family is thrilled to welcome the latest class of apprentice technicians,’ said Tyra Bremer, Service King Vice President of Talent Development. ‘It is exciting to witness our apprenticeship program continue to grow and provide immersive training opportunities to aspiring technicians from across the country. We look forward to equipping and training each of the 42 technicians who joined our family this week to prosper in the next chapter of their careers.’

Service King’s Apprentice Development Program provides technicians an unrivaled one-year training program under the guidance of an experienced and certified Apprentice Supervisor. In December, the program officially earned certification by the U.S. Department of Labour, paving the way for additional growth and opportunity for skilled workers to advance their careers in the collision repair field.

The Apprentice Development Program officially launched in 2015 and has graduated more than 125 certified auto body technicians into its workforce.
