Alemdar Sönmez is Automechanika Istanbul’s show director at Deutsche Messe-Hannover Turkey. He has worked in the exhibition industry for 19 years, and particularly in the automotive sector. He has represented the interests of the Turkish automotive industry in more than 20 countries. He holds a UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) exhibition management degree. Currently, he is focusing on Blockchain and the effects of digitalisation in the automotive industry.
