Harold Sears is a 30+ year automotive industry veteran with deep experience in innovation and engineering and a focus on additive manufacturing. Harold spent the majority of his career in additive manufacturing leading a variety of operational and engineering teams to grow the use of additive manufacturing processes for the Ford Motor Company. Most recently, Harold led implementation of additive manufacturing technologies into the production manufacturing environment at Ford.

Since then, Harold has founded a consulting business, Imagine Additive Consulting, where he advises clients on strategies to implement additive processes into their manufacturing solutions. He is passionate about technology and driving efficiency from prototype to production.

Harold is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and native to Michigan, where he still resides.

Recently returned from trips to China to meet with local authorities and in particular the Chinese OEM’s who are lining up to export vehicles to the rest of the world, there may be well worthwhile points of interest, opportunity and advice on offer especially to the independent Repair/Bodyshop Networks.
