Ian started his bodyshop career in 1984 with a Saturday job via the UK Government Youth Training Scheme, before passing his City & Guild qualifications in 1988. Now having over 40 years within the accident repair industry, Ian is Managing Director of Summers Accident Repair Centre, a respected and award winning multi vehicle manufacturer approved bodyshop based in Kent, UK.

Today, Summers Accident Repair Centre are highly regarded as early investors in new technology, from aluminium repairs to ADAS calibration and Electrification and are established market leaders in utilising OEM and retailer relationships to sustain retail work volumes, rather than focusing on insurance contracts.
