Lucas’ passion for cars started when he used to try to build wooden cars with his brothers as a child. By the age of 15, he decided to pursue his dream of working in the automotive industry by enrolling in an Automotive Technology Course in Sao Paulo.

With a high interest in car painting, the teachers invited Lucas to participate in the WorldSkills regional competitions in Brazil, where in 2016, he became the national car painting champion.

The following year, Lucas competed in the WorldSkills International competition in Abu Dhabi, where he was honoured with a medal of excellence in Car Painting.

In 2020 he started his career as a Vocational Trainer in the United Arab Emirates, training young car painters and helping to build the next generation of professionals in the country.
