Matthew Van VleetDirector, End-User Key Accounts, 3M
Matt Van Vleet, Director, End-User Key Accounts of the Automotive Aftermarket Division, gathered a deep understanding of the portfolio and offerings through various sales and marketing roles throughout the Industrial Business Group in his 16-year career.
He joined 3M in 2006 as a sales representative for 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division in eastern Texas. After holding various sales and marketing roles, he served as business leader for 3M’s printable PSA commercialization and both U.S. and global product marketing roles for 3M’s thin double-sided tapes business into automotive, and masking and duct tapes into the industrial marketplace. He utilized his strong background as he transitioned to regional sales leader for 3M’s Converter Markets business, serving design, quality, and manufacturing engineers across industrial, aerospace, medical, and automotive markets.
Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management. He enjoys learning new things, building winning teams, pushing himself ever closer to the top of the Peloton leaderboard, and spending time with his wife and three boys.
