Mehmet Karakoç, a graduate of the Electrical Engineering department from Yıldız Technical University, began his professional career in 1992 during his university years in the automotive sector.

In 2002, Karakoç became a partner in Bakırcı and simultaneously took on the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. He has actively served for many years on the board of TÜGİAD (Young Businessmen Association of Turkey) and TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) Young Entrepreneurs Committee in Istanbul.

Currently, in addition to his executive role at Bakırcı, he is an active board member of OSS Association (Automotive After-Sales Products and Services Association), TOBFED (Federation of Turkish Automotive Maintenance Associations), and TOSDER (All Automotive Services Association).
