Trent Walkdenowner, South Tweed Autos Smash Repairs
Trent bought his father’s business partner out of South Tweed Autos Smash Repairs (STASR) in 2010 and started working in the business at the end of 2012. He was interested in business and when the opportunity presented itself, he did not hesitate the purchase.
After spending the first 12 months in STASR, Trent realized the full potential of the business and put a plan in place to grow. Over the next six years, the business turnover went from $3,200,000 to $8,200,000. Covid was the catalyst for limited growth over the next few years however STASR is now on track to turn over $10,000,000 this year.
During this period, they have also built up a commercial property portfolio and have used the business skills that he has learned from STASR to venture into new businesses in other industries.
Trent is very grateful for the opportunity that the smash repair industry has provided him with and the lessons in business that he has learned
