Symach aids 3D expansion

US based collision repair business, 3D has opened its sixth location in the Greater Philadelphia market, with the support of Symach technology.

3D an independently owned multi-shop collision centre founded in 1981 by David Niestroy. 3D’s newest facility is conveniently located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and will employ Symach European technology that uses for drying paint Drytronic (electromagnetic waves technology).

The new shop will produce 120 repairs per week and is fully automated with a Symach FixLine conveyor featuring six robots which guarantees performance for all the phases of repair process. The automation also claims to reduce cycle delivery time.

For Symach it is the first ‘large bodyshop’ it has fitted-out in US market.

‘We have always been at the forefront of the latest technology here at 3D,’ said David Niestroy. ‘Although this project has a much larger scope, we believe this will enable us to provide customers and insurance partners something they cannot obtain anywhere else in the region.’

The 24,000sqft shop will include 26 bays with two aluminum repair areas.
