Tesla delivers record quarter

Tesla has delivered over 25,000 cars in the first three months of the year making it a record quarter for the electric car manufacturer.
Tesla claimed the deliveries represented a 70% rise on the same period in 2016 and shows a turnaround for the business which experienced a nine per cent fall in deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Tesla delivered 13,450 Model S cars and 11,550 of the Model X during the period.
