Tesla shares rocket 700%

Tesla is now valued at more General Motors, Ford, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Toyota combined, after shared soared more than 700% this year.
This month the car company joined the S&P 500, an index of the biggest stocks in the US which includes the likes of Apple, Microsoft and Facebook, and is now one of the 10 most valuable companies on the index.
