According to Reuters, Volkswagen AG’s Czech division Skoda will shift some production of SUVs to Germany to meet increased demands for its models.
VW has been looking for ways to grow output at Skoda. This includes building new infrastructures outside of Czech to help with increased demands.
Skoda told Reuters that it will allocate production of its newest Karoq SUV model to a VW plant in Osnabrueck, Germany, which will take place at the end of 2018.
However, the move to Germany will only be temporary to help aid with the production of the Karoq, with the main production to continue in the Czech Republic.
